What the service is

Sanctions & Tariff Lookup is a free informational tool published by Starry Night. It searches a mirrored copy of public data from U.S. government sources: the Consolidated Screening List published by the International Trade Administration, OFAC sanctions list files from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule published by the U.S. International Trade Commission. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these agencies.

Not legal advice

Results are for information only and are not legal, customs, tax or compliance advice, and using the service creates no professional relationship. A "possible match" is not a determination that a party is restricted, and "no match" is not a clearance. Duty rates and classifications are not binding rulings.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for your compliance decisions. Verify results against the official sources linked in each answer, review identifying details, and consult qualified counsel or a licensed customs broker where needed. The mirror may lag the official sources, and the service does not cover every list, ownership-based restrictions (such as OFAC's 50 Percent Rule) or every duty that may apply.
